Which one is more intelligent, can follow orders, cats or dogs? This kind of debate has been around for a very long time. Now lets check first the nature of each animal being compared here. Dogs definitely like to please their masters. You can tell that they are satisfied when they make their owners happy. Therefore, their full attention are always there. They are good listeners and execute every command taught to them. In other words, dogs can process more complex words than cats. In dog’s mind, their masters are their world and they will follow any orders. Aside from that, dogs can recognize a behavioral pattern. For example, they eat at a certain spot at a specific time. They would eventually learn about this pattern and be attentive about it.
Cats on the other hand, although they lack those attentiveness and good student behavior. Cats do have a sharp sense of hearing. They might not use this to follow their owners but they sure can hear every tiny sounds around them. Cat may follow you around the house for a while but their attention can easily be taken by something around them.
Cats and dogs are like comparing apples and oranges. Totally different creatures that possess unique characteristics. Dogs are surely the obedient one who likes to welcome their fur parents and make everyone in the room happy. Cats love to be on their own most of the time. They like to play on their own world. They come and follow only when they feel like to do it. Dogs, will be more than willing to follow. Sometimes they even initiate something to keep things moving.
